I have felt since Me Too sprouted that the last nails in the coffin of the old ways were beginning to pound. I said then that the patriarchy, Christianity, and etc. would fight tooth and nail to keep things the same. This moment we are in is their tooth biting in to us, their nails clawing back up to the top. Did we really think these systems would go down so easily? Sadly many of us (myself included at times) were a bit too optimistic that we were winning when we’ve only just begun.

Exactly. That's what the Civil War was all about. People willing to die, before they're willing to change.

Think about that. These people would rather die than evolve.

Your laryngitis could well be covid related. 😿 Check out @MEAction. I've been dealing with ME for 20 years so apologies in advance for the unpolished comments below.

This is an interesting article, but like so many American intellectuals, your perspective is clouded by insularity and exceptionalism. Amerikkka greatest success is in deluding its population. Check out Tom Secker's work on Holyweird.

America has always been an empire. It has never been peace loving. It is built on genocide, slavery, colonialism and exploitation. Has it ever been a land of freedom and democracy?

America supported Franco,, Mussolini and Hitler. Hitler was a great admirer of Amerikkka. The techniques used by fascists in Europe had already been perfected by corporations in America who used gangsters, later Pinkerton, Police, FBI, National Guard etc to enforce totalitarian control over workforces. Check out some Upton Sinclair, I'd recommend Oil, King Coal and The Brass Check. The Bonus Army riots via the Zinn Project.

James Barr's series of books 'Lords of the Desert' provide an excellent summary of the collapse of the French and British empires and America's colonisation of West Asia.

Fetishism of Jerusalem has existed since before the Crusades, referenced by George Bush during the illegal war on Iraq. Control of Jerusalem was one of the objectives of the Crimean War. The influence of the deranged manifestations of Christianity, vis America in particular is disturbing. Mark Twain's Pilgrims Journey may be of interest, his perspectives on plague are quite RFK jnr.

Manufacturing animosity towards Russia has been another of Amerikkka's success stories. Corporations fear socialism and communism. I think you really need to explore American involvement in the colour Revolutions, starting with the coup that was fostered in Ukraine. Jeffrey Sachs, Brian Berletic and Glenn Diesen publish on Substack. @thealtworld offers some interesting perspectives.

Influential European fascists managed to find homes in Canada, America and South America. Their influence has become apparent over recent years.

Brain fog is beginning to cloud my perspective so I will leave this for now
